Letters to a Young ----

We all need encouragement to pursue our passions, as Rilke knew.  I have been so blessed lately to have my passions recognized — singing, through the Highrock Christmas Concert, and writing, through this website.  Whatever your passions might be, I would love to continue this discussion with you any time.  Thanks for coming along on the ride with me.

Holiday Party & Book Swap

This month, the Tipsy Mamas’ Book Club convened for a Holiday Party and Book Swap.  We enjoyed wonderful company and seasonal drinks as we shared ideas from our own reading.  Please enjoy this list of titles we collected and passed around.

Feed my lambs

Thank you to everyone who came to the Highrock Christmas Concert!  The money raised will benefit FoodLink which rescues nutritious food from vendors and distributes it to those with food insecurity.  Thank you for helping to feed our Massachusetts neighbors!

Drop off the food and leave

A couple of months ago I attended a Welcome event for Community Cooks, a Somerville-based organization that provides home-cooked meals to 4,600 neighbors in need every month.  That night, the other cooks and I present learned that while we might feel like we work in isolation, we are blessing the clients in silent and subtle ways that satisfy even our need to be appreciated.
