Trailblazers: Rewriting the Narrative!

Check out my story as featured in BostonVoyager Magazine's series Trailblazers: Rewriting the Narrative!  A big thank you to my neighbor for referring me to this magazine and giving me a huge boost toward pursuing my dream of becoming a writer.

My own there and back again

At the Women’s Retreat at Camp Berea on Newfound Lake, NH and on the cusp of a new season in life,  I had the chance to regain my footing and remember to praise God, to be grateful for all of the blessings in my life, and to have courage to take next steps as I follow where he is leading me.

What does it mean to be an Evangelical?

My friend asked me this question, and I answered her honestly from my own experience.  For me it means repeatedly being vulnerable with my friends and taking the risk to be different.  Every day, Christians have a new chance to practice humility and to offer grace-filled, serving love as we seek to follow Jesus’ example to love the world.

A Place to Begin

Thank you to my husband for helping me launch this website.  I remind myself to follow my abilities and stoke my passions.  My worth is innate, and my joy and satisfaction stem from what I create and share with others.
Come with me on this journey by reading along.

Heroes of the Frontier

Intro to family devotions

This month, my husband and I started "Family Times."  These are short studies in God's word, with stories and art to bring the fun. We began with My ABC Bible Verses by Susan Hunt.

Bread delivery

Several times a year my husband volunteers to transport donated bread from local Panera stores to our church where the food is packaged and delivered to Arlington residents in fixed income housing.  To get involved, check out this site.
